Message from the CEDA Chairman
Hafa Adai! At the outset, I, on behalf of the CEDA Board of Directors and management, take this opportunity to recognize the past Board of Directors. Their outstanding leadership and invaluable service to this agency are much appreciated. In our accomplishments, we give special notice to the Board of Directors and their contributions. Echoing our past Chairperson, Aubry M. Hocog’s message --
“There are many ways we can turn the economic crisis into a time of opportunity. At CEDA, we manage our limited resources to a positive effect. Our success will be measured in the ways our community responds to the current crisis. If responses generate innovation and re-establish the Northern Marianas as a good place to do business, then we will have succeeded.”
At CEDA, we have demonstrated a capacity for adaptation and innovation. And so, facing new and bigger challenges today, we are more determined to find ways to leverage our resources and building capacity to help bring the Commonwealth back to the road of economic growth. Our future success is built on this commitment.

The CEDA Board of Directors
The CEDA is governed and controlled by a seven-member Board of Directors appointed by the Governor with the advice and the consent of the Senate. Board members serve staggered four-year terms and may be reappointed to serve successive terms.

The DCD Board of Directors
CEDA's loan programs are governed and controlled by the DCD Board of Directors. The DCD Board of Directors is comprised of the seven members of the CEDA Board of Directors. Members serve until their terms of office with the CEDA Board of Directors expire.
